THE ANNUAL ALLIANCE GOLF & LEISURE DAY With Special Guests Peter Baker & Paul Way

A complete day out with your clients or a chance to reward your team

A great chance to network with other industries who want to ensure intellectual property rights are valued in the UK.

The annual Golf Tournament has raised vital funds for anti-piracy activities in past years. For example, 2006 revenue was used to finance the Alliance’s highly successful seminar hosted and run by the influential Social Market Foundation, at which the then IP Minister, Lord Triesman, vigorously supported the industry on a range of Gowers’ related issues and participated in a highly charged debate.

2007 Golf Day funds will be used to mark the Alliance’s 10th Anniversary by producing a new report on how much needed improvements to the legislative environment have been achieved. It will look ahead to what the industry will need to maintain IP protection and promotion in the future. This will be launched at its Summer Reception to which the Prime Minister has been invited. It is high profile lobbying events such as these that the 2008 Golf Day funds will continue to make possible, on behalf of all its industry sectors.
